Hi Tom!

Thanks for hosting such a fabulous trip down the mighty Danube!   Pat and I are sure glad we did it!   It was first class!   Can’t say enough about AmaWaterways as they know just “how to”!   Also a “merci” for sharing the great photos.   As there is already a “world renowned” photographer in the family, I don’t even take a camera along anymore so rely on those of you who capture the moments and share them!

Wishing you and Billy happy travels in the best of health!

Hello Tom and Bill;

Tom, there are no words to express my appreciation and gratitude to you and Bill for all the kindness and special attention you showed us and all our "Boston Boys". We all had such a great time in Tahiti and Tex and his son Chris got to spend a lot of quality father-son time together. Something they haven't been able to do for a long time. A once in a life-time trip for all of us. Who knows, we might make a world traveler of Tex yet.

...And that is why you are the best travel agents in the world.

Love to you both,

Anne

Thanks again for being such great hosts (and friends), and we look forward to the next adventure.

Fondly,

Mr. Tom Taffel requests the pleasure of your company for a cocktail honoring our guests of the All Cruise Travel Group on Sunday, January 2, 2011 in the Observation lounge at 6:30PM

A toast from a passenger in our group:

"Tom, this is for you. For well over a year I've been waiting for this journey to happen. It has happened -- and it's all because of you. Were it not for your consistent encouragement, I may not have experienced such an adventure. Your ceaseless enthusiasm has been at the root of one of my most unforgettable experiences, one that will replay itself in my quietest heart chambers for many years to come. I am so grateful to you and Bill for all that you have done to make this a reality. As a reward, I thought of kidnapping a penguin for you . . . BUT . . . Thanks from the core of my heart, Tom."

Dearest You, and Precious Bill,

Last night, in my luscious bed and on my own pillow, before sleep overtook me, I thought back on these past few weeks, and all I could do was smile. An unbelievable experience, an amazing adventure, filled with indefinable moments in time which I shall forever treasure. I know that this journey will remain the highlight of my life, and I thank you over and over for making this dream become a reality for me. I know you've heard me say that many times, but one can NEVER say thank you enough times.

I'm heading out the door in a few minutes but wanted to say how beautiful your highlights are, Tom. Thanks so very much for those, and I'm deeply touched in many ways for your acknowledgment and inclusion of my words. You are precious, and I love and adore you both so much. I felt very protected, guided, and taken care of during this entire cruise -- by YOU! You are true emissaries for good times and fun . . . important components of successful travels and memorable journeys.

Tom, you included EVERYTHING in those highlights, bless you. You spent hours putting all that together, and now you are uploadng/downloading photos -- which I will take a look at in a few days.

Memories, and more memories. This morning, I've been on a complete euphoric high, realizing what just happened!

Much love and endless gratitude to you.

Erika

Hendrik and I thought the trip you arranged with Uniworld and the Danube was fabulous!
We had first class service- and fun and neither of us wanted to bother with hot tubs and pools - too busy off seeing things.

I think this was one of the best trips of my life.

Thanks again!

Love to you both,

Dear Tom and Billy,

I had a great time and I have shared the experience and photos with many family members and friends.
To be able to take my first cruise with a group of fun and welcoming individuals like the two of you and the others who were a part of the group, to be on such a beautiful cruise line and to go to the Greek Isles was unbelievable.
(And to have not gotten sea sick was unbelievable as well)  :-)

I will never forget the beautiful Islands and all the fun I had.   Thank you. I appreciate everything you did. Thank you,

Grace.

Dear Tom,

Thank you for arranging such a great trip and taking such good care of all of us.   I really enjoyed our time in Sydney. The great location of the Swiss Hotel Sydney, the Opera House, "Tosca," the Blue Mountains -- all were wonderful.

It was great to see so much of Auckland before going to the airport.   I really appreciate all that you did for us. Thank you so much.

I hope that your got some rest before going to work Saturday night.

Thanks again,

GUEST EVALUATION:

Question #4.
What was the most enjoyable aspect of the cruise?

Answer:
(1) Beautiful islands and ports of call.
(2) Generous shipboard credit.
(3) Tom Taffel (See other side).

(Other side)

We would also like to add the excellent service and assistance we received from Tom Taffel, our agent for All Cruise Travel.

This is our fourth cruise with Tom.   Once again his attention to detail was outstanding.   He made our voyage comfortable and pleasant.

John had recently gotten out of the hospital, with painful kidney stones.   Tom arranged for wheel chairs at the airports, plus an earlier return flight connection from LAX to SFO.   He and Bill Repp gave us their more comfortable flight seats going over, thus making the trip less painful.

On board, we were kept informed with valuable personal helpful tourist and ship information.   A special private tour of the ship was arranged for our group.   Wonderful photos to remember the journey have been passed on to us.

We cannot speak too highly of Tom's personal care.   We have recommended him and All Cruise Travel to all of our friends interested in cruising.  Next June, 2010, through Tom and All Cruise Travel, we have booked two back-to-back cruises and on the first segment, we have gotten two friends to join us.  We are looking forward to these upcoming Oceania Cruises.

With appreciation, sincerely yours,

Subject: The Elbe Cruise

Hi Tom:

We haven't stopped talking about our recent cruise on the Elbe River. When asked what the highlight of the trip was, I find myself responding that it was the people with whom we travelled; Prague, Dresden and Berlin were certainly memorable, but nothing will compare with the group of travelers you managed to pull together.   They enriched every moment spent along the way.

I don't know how you managed it all.  You took such meticulous care of every detail, from introducing some of the group to us at the Opera House before departure, arranging for another small group to meet and travel together by air, every activity planned, documented, tended to.   Your tireless energy, patience and attention, Wagner's music drifting over the river as we cruised past that marvelous castle, balmy evenings spent on the deck engaged in conversations with fascinating companions, and Bill's hilarious impromptu moments---these are the memories that will stay with us long after the visions of art treasures and astounding fortresses fade.

And then when we arrived home, all those stunning photographs arriving on our computer screen, to share with our friends and family. What a treasure you are! Now all that's left is to lose 8 pounds gained sitting around those dining room tables.

Love,

Marilyn and Nelson

Dear Mr. Conroy:

Please accept this letter of appreciation for your gracious hospitality during our RSSC Baltic Cruise on the m/s Voyager, August 18-25. I had the pleasure of sailing with Tom Taffel and Bill Repp of Tom's Group Cruises, and we were informed you were responsible for our August 23 cocktail reception as we departed St. Petersburg. Thank you so much!

Through Tom and Bill, we were introduced to Gillett Brescia prior to sailing, whose advice and insights to our Baltic adventure were invaluable. Gillette is a wonderful ambassador for Regent. And upon boarding, Philippe Periou, John Curran, Roger Condon and Brian O'Brien joined us for our sail-away cocktail party, which Gillett had arranged. I brought along Christine Brown, the guest chef, whom I had just met during lifeboat drill. It was a very festive beginning, indeed!

Further, I had the good fortune to participate in the Circle of Interest program with art historian Vadim Palchun. Our personalized tour of The Hermitage was intense, but very fulfilling. Mr. Palchun was knowledgeable, informative and dedicated to ensure that our group had a most enriching exposure to Russia's art treasures. And each of my elected shore excursions was most satisfactory as well, especially the opera and ballet performances.

And just a staff note'during our second evening in St. Petersburg, the port area was emitting acrid smoke which was picked up by the vessel's ventilation system. A 4:00AM call to Reception resulted in my being escorted by Housekeeping to an unoccupied cabin. What an incredible level of service and concern for passenger comfort!

And in the spirit of small world, two evenings ago I attended a party here in San Francisco and met Nitin Mehta, your former colleague with Royal Viking Lines. I shared with Nitin my wonderful impressions of the Voyager cruise.

Looking ahead, I will be sailing again with Tom and Bill on the m/s Paul Gaguin next summer, on what may be its final season in the South Pacific. From reports of clients who have repeated this trip with Tom and Bill, it is one not to be missed. The perfect combination.Tom's Group Cruises and Regent Seven Seas!

Cordially,

Subject: Tahiti Cruise 2007

Tom,

We just wanted to take a minute and thank you one more time for booking our cruise.   This was our first cruise together and the bar has been set pretty high.   After our week in Tahiti with you and the group you booked, we cannot wait to cruise again.

We met a lot of great people and made a few new friends.   The sites in Tahiti were beautiful and the service on the M/S Paul Gauguin was beyond expectations.   These two things could have made it very easy for you to book the cruise and let the group go, however you did not.   You went above and beyond to make sure that everyone that you booked had the best cruise possible.   From reserving the best tables for dinner, the complimentary tours, the "on ship credit" to just your overall caring....Exceptional.

It should also be stated that we have never met a warmer person than Bill Repp.   He is the kindest man we have ever met and we truly value our friendship with both of you.

After a week with you guys, the question is not "if" we will cruise with you again?   It is "when" will we cruise with you again. We look forward to the future.

Kindest Regards,

Geoff and Missy

The "Paul Gauguin" is a beautifully designed ship.  We were particularly impressed with the warmth and professionalism of the staff.   Our stateroom was most comfortable.   Your attention to detail and wonderfully planned dinner's and events made this cruise a very special event in our lives.  We are hooked and will "cruise" again.

We enjoyed everyone in the group and hope to make contact in the future.

Dear Taff and Billy,

Please know how very much I appreciate your thoughtful planning, execution and oversight of our Asian Adventure cruise.   I now have trip memories to long cherish and many new friendships to treasure.

The Nautica exceeded my expectations of cruise travel -- the facilities, staff and cuisine were outstanding.   Your dedication ensured that we garnered the most from the lectures, shore excursions, shopping expeditions and pleasant group dinners -- as Tom's photos attest.

With deep thanks and fondest regards to you both,

Dear Mr. Conroy:

A friend and I recently cruised aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin. (July 22-29, 2006) while on vacation in Tahiti. This was my first cruise. The service we received from the entire staff/crew was exceptional.

We made our arrangements through Tom's Group Cruises in San Francisco.

Tom Taffel and Bill Repp were directly responsible for the best vacation we have ever experienced. Not even the smallest detail was overlooked.

Recognizing the difference between services provided because we must and those provided from a genuine willingness to help and an attitude of serving the customer, I look forward to booking future cruises on Regent through them when my plans call for travel.

I hope you'll share my comments with the Hotel Director and Tom. Regent is fortunate to have such a fine young person in it's affiliation.

You are too good!   You have covered everything - I think I will love traveling with you.   Thank you for being so thorough. I am very relaxed about heading off on my own to a country where I do not speak their language.   Plus, I know from past dealings with German travel, if it is not right, there is little flexibilty in making changes.   I am so glad it looks perfect.

Thank you for all that both of you did in helping us to plan our cruise on Oceania. The ship is beautiful, the food excellent and the staff outstanding. The weather was great except for a storm of biblical proportions in Sorrento (it passed and we were able to tour Pompeii) and very high winds in Marseilles.

All in all, a harmonious trip. Again, thanks for your excellent, professional and cheerful help.

~ The menu and dessert menu gold tassels as well as your innovative table cloth/lamp combinations made dining an added delight.
~ Our waiter gave us service surpassing that of Crystal, Radisson and Silversea.
~ The spa was first class.
~ Your choices in draperies and appointments throughout the ship are nonpareil.
~ The most exceptional new innovation was your tenpiece orchestra. The strings were such a welcome sight (and sound). What a great touch, especially their performance in the dining room.

Thanks for creating such a unique, quality product.

Once more, our deep appreciation for a wonderful cruise.

I want to thank you both for opening up new worlds to me.   The cruises during the past few years have been impeccable in planning and organization.   They have given me the opportunity to see wonderful places and meet delightful people that I would not otherwise have seen and met.   You have deeply enriched my understanding and appreciation of the world around me.

You have also nurtured my understanding and appreciation of the world inside me. Through encounters with many different cultures, I have found out unexpected things about myself, my values, and my character.   The cruises have been more than pleasant times in far-away places. They have been amazing journeys of self-discovery.

Many thanks for Sunday's grand party and all your hospitality. You organized everything beautifully, and then you and Bill kept everything going beautifully. Of course, I had an especially good time seeing and talking with so many longtime friends.

As outstanding and enjoyable as Sunday's pot luck was, though, it could barely hint at the joys you have instore for the merry travelers on the "Paul Gauguin."

Love and Bon Voyage to you and Bill and warm regards to Sarah and Bernie.

Barbara

Tom,

Many thanks to you and Bill for the wonderful pre-trip potluck. You seem to have everything well in hand. Usually I don't travel in such luxury or with travel guides who are so organized. I'm also very impressed with Padre Isles' package, especially the booklet on Tahiti and the disposable camera. Thanks also for your follow-up e-mail. This should be such great fun! I can't wait--too bad it's only a week-long cruise.

Best wishes,

Kristin

Tom-

I can't thank you enough for including me in the group to Tahiti. I have told my friends here in Detroit that the trip was so wonderful it was "life changing." You had a great deal to do with that and I want you to know how very much I appreciate it.

Hugh

Dear Tom and Bill,

Mama and I can't thank you enough for all the caring effort you put forth for all of us in Tahiti. Your gentle concern for Mama is much appreciated also. Some people of gloom said she could not make such a trip, but with all the help she did beautifully. I know she had a ball and we both feel that this was our favorite cruise ever. Having been in the travel business, I know what it takes to make all "look" smooth and you did a 6* job. Hope all goes well for the next adventures!

With love and thanks,

Dorothy and Suzanne

You are great!!!

TT

Where do you find all this energy? I had a wonderful time on this cruise, and it was a pleasure meeting you and Bill. I think we have all adjusted to the "normal" routine of life once again. I met some very extraordinary, wonderful people in our group, and look forward to visiting with them all again on a future cruise. Sarah did a great job getting our trip arrangements together with such short notice. She is a beautiful person. Tell Billy I said hello. I miss his absolutely adorable sense of humor.

Until we meet again.

Bye for now.

Best regards.

Ed

Hi Honey!

First of all, thank you soooooooo much for all the hard work you did in putting together such a fabulous cruise.

Hi Tom,
I just want to tell you what a great time my Mom, Gail, and I had on our trip. I was a little hesitant about spending the money, but it was so well worth it! It was really the perfect trip for us because it was so relaxing and the benefit of the cruise was that we didn't have to do very much planning ourselves.
See you at the opera! Hugs and kisses to you, Bill, and Aunt Bertha!
Rene

Tom-
Just wanted to thank you for all the terrific digital photos. We all had such a wonderful time on the cruise. Thanks for being so generous with your time, and for all the little gifts given to the boys. Those binoculars were a stroke of genius!
Hello and love to Bill too...

Dearest Taff and Bill,
Didn't get to "glow in the aftermath" of our wonderful cruise and reunion with so many dear friends, both new and old. Most importantly, we wanted to thank you for all the hard work that you and Sarah have done in coordinating these trips for our group. Your efforts are clearly obvious. All the extras did not go unnoticed. Again, thanks to you and Sarah for making us feel so special.
Kudos to both of you.
Hugs,
Helga and Alan

Taff,
I trust you and Billy are well. I miss seeing you both. Again, thanks for the great time you guys planned in our recent cruise. It was a delightful trip for me...and I loved the mix. Also, my suite mate is everything you told me he would be, and more! I believe I'd ask for his company for any other upcoming trips.
Take care.
Gracie and I send hugs and kisses.
Love,
Thomas

Hi Tom,
Well another cruise gone well. I really enjoyed this cruise as it was the best yet.... Of course, all those winnings helped! :-)
But truly, a most enjoyable cruise with a great list of fellow passengers. As you are probably aware, I also spent a lot of time with Will, Ed, Al Binky, Bart, Jutta, Selma, Phyllis, Lia, a little bit of time with Bernice and Marilyn during BINGO. I even chatted with you and Bill, Helga and Allen and Sarah and Bernie..... I was all over the place. Why, I even was mentioned by the cruise director Danielle what do you know???? A memorable event for me.
Thanks again for a job well done! Looking forward to another sometime in the future.......
Lloyd

Hi, Tom and Bill,
Sorry I did not get back to you before you went on your Alaska trip. I really, really enjoyed my trip with you guys. It was lots of fun, not to mention all the beautiful sights and countries we got to see and all the good food on the "Princendam."
Thank you for all the beautiful memories I get to keep. See you at the Opera.
Jutta

Dear Taffy -
Thanks so much for again being the leader of a great cruise. I'm so spoiled by your expertise that I would hesitate to go anywhere on a trip without you. The ship was so great and it was a most pleasurable experience.
Mille grazie and love and kisses -
June

Hi Tom & Bill -
Dixie and I had a great time on the trip. As expected we left things undone and hope to get back to the area in the next few years(?). I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone. It is really a nice bunch of people. I (and am sure Dixie joins me) wish you guys a great trip to Alaska.
Have a very, very Happy Anniversary!

Tom,
You and Bill deserve lots of credit for having all of us in, making it seem like a real party, and giving us so much needed information all at the same time.   It's no wonder you have such a high rate of return among cruisegoers.   I'm delighted to become a part of the group.
Vivienne

Dear Taff and Bill:
Thank you for everything.
You both worked very hard on this cruise trying to make everyone feel comfortable.
You all,  (Sara included), did a wonderful job and made my cruise a memorable one.
I made some wonderful friends on this cruise.   John and I E-mail regularly and I am going to S.F. sometime this year for a visit with him.
You two are very special people with exceptional people skills and everyone appreciates you.  Don't forget about taking care of yourselves too.   We love you.
Until we meet again.   My thanks and best wishes,
Ed

Hi Tom,

I should have written months ago to tell you and Bill how much I enjoyed the cruise and how much I appreciate the time and effort you and he spent on making sure my trip was enjoyable.   I am so glad I saw the cathedral in Barcelona and the sculpture garden in Oslo.   I would have missed them both if it hadn't been for you.
Love,
Edith

Dear Taff and Sarah,

I want to thank you both for opening up new worlds to me.   The cruises during the past few years have been impeccable in planning and organization.   They have given me the opportunity to see wonderful places and meet delightful people that I would not otherwise have seen and met.   You have deeply enriched my understanding and appreciation of the world around me.

You have also nurtured my understanding and appreciation of the world inside me. Through encounters with many different cultures, I have found out unexpected things about myself, my values, and my character.   The cruises have been more than pleasant times in far-away places.   They have been amazing journeys of self-discovery.

Love and best wishes,

Mark
