Paphos is a town in Cyprus whose history dates back to the Neolithic period. It was in Paphos that the mythological goddess Aphrodite was born and along with her came the legendary upsurge of cult worship that lasted for many centuries.

The Ancient Kingdom of Kourion - The Temple of Apollo and Omodos Village.

2nd Century BC Greco-Roman theater is still used today. The temple of Apollo is the largest and perhaps the most important religious center on Cyprus. It hats bath complex and pilgrim halls.

The “Rock of Aphrodite,” and the “House of Eustolios” and spectacular open-air, (restored), Greco-Roman theater. Pafos is where Aphrodite (Goddess of love and beauty), rose from shores of the west coast.
